During the past twenty years Ruby has been a serial entrepreneur in Real Estate, Tax Services, Childcare Centers and The Beauty Industry. Ruby often credits her entrepreneurial spirit and inspiration to her Grandmother which planted the seed of believing in yourself and hard work always pays off. From 2000 - 2014 Ruby successfully owned and operated  barber shops and/or hair salons throughout the Dallas metro-plex area.  In 2018 Innovative Barber Academy was open to the public and IBA product line was established. While serving as the Director of the institution Ruby still finds the time to volunteer in the community and provide services to those in need.
