No. 探花系列is an association of institutions of higher education, and does not provide any kind of veterinary services. Contact your state veterinary medical association for a list of care providers in your area. You may also look at our membership page to see if there is a veterinary college near you.
探花系列does not accredit DVM or equivalent educational programs. This is done by the AVMA Council on Education. 探花系列is, however, responsible for appointing a portion of the council鈥檚 membership. For more information, see the .

探花系列is an association of institutions of higher education, whereas AVMA is an association of individual veterinarians. While 探花系列and AVMA have many areas of common interest and collaboration, each is an independently incorporated organization.
探花系列advocacy letters and newsletters provide the latest information on our Governmental Affairs programming. Additionally, all 探花系列member institutions are invited to join our annual Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill. Learn more on our Advocacy Page.

Members
Dues are billed in April and are due July 1 of each year. 探花系列sends the dues invoice to the institutional representative as well as the financial contact for the institution. For more information, please contact accounting@aavmc.org.
Annual Volunteer Call
探花系列hosts a call for volunteers each year to fill committee vacancies. Appointment Process: All committee members are appointed by the 探花系列president. Term of Service: Committee members commit to a three-year term commencing after the April annual conference.

Members
Members can participate in key decision-making bodies, including the Board of Directors and the Assembly. They are eligible for positions on governance and finance committees, as well as the Data Committee.
All Member Types
All members can submit nominations or self-nominations to participate in councils and committees related to veterinary education, professional development, wellbeing, and research.
Specialized Roles
Specialized roles, such as advocacy committee positions, liaison appointments, JVME Editorial Board positions, and participation in initiatives, task forces, and working groups, are available by invitation based on qualifications and expertise.
Individuals who are members of staff or faculty at an 探花系列member institution can email info@aavmc.org with an announcement. 探花系列will review the request and determine whether it can be accommodated. For job postings, 探花系列maintains a Jobs Board, which can be accessed . 探花系列moved away from listservs in 2020 and now hosts the association鈥檚 various communities on . 探花系列Connect communities are limited to staff or faculty of 探花系列member institutions or invited guests serving in specific consultancy roles.
